Our mission

aivancity has been established as a mission-driven organisation, making it the first higher education institution in France to adopt this status.

aivancity places its commitments to employability, diversity, responsibility, local roots and engagement with the city at the heart of its constitution.

The values it upholds are also the missions it sets itself; they form the very essence of the institution and are monitored by an external body.

Mission-driven organisation:

The Act on Business Growth and Transformation, known as the 2019 Pacte Act, introduced the status of ‘mission-driven company’.

It enables a company to publicly declare its status as a mission-driven company by setting out its purpose, as well as one or more social and environmental objectives that the company undertakes to pursue as part of its business activities.

Our purpose is, first and foremost, educational.

The company’s mission is to train young people and executives, thereby helping businesses to meet the many economic and societal challenges associated with harnessing the potential of data and artificial intelligence; to promote their employability throughout their lives in a field that will shape the transformation of the economy and society; and thereby to contribute to a significant improvement in business performance and to work towards the progress of humanity.

To support the development of individuals’ skills so that they can achieve personal and professional fulfilment throughout their lives, whilst acting as effective contributors within responsible and competitive organisations, wherever they may be in the world.
aivancity is committed to promoting diversity and social inclusion and to contributing to collective efforts to provide career guidance for young people from disadvantaged areas.
Ethics and responsibility, which are key criteria in the selection of candidates, are also priority areas of our training programme—covering both technical and interpersonal skills—and a commitment we make to the employers who will recruit our graduates.
We aim to develop the school in close collaboration with its local community by forging partnerships with neighbouring schools and businesses in the town and region, by opening up campus events to the public, and by hosting events and activities that enrich the local area’s cultural life.
