Against a backdrop of rapid transformation driven by artificial intelligence, global competition for talent and the persistent under-representation of women in science and technology, aivancity, the Grande École for Artificial Intelligence and Data, announces the launch of a scheme that is the first of its kind in France: the aivancity Pilot Programme of Excellence.

“Potential should never be limited by resources.”

This scheme comprises 20 full tuition fee waivers for the Grande École Programme starting in the 2026 academic year, with a minimum target of 50 per cent women among the successful applicants.

Training a generation of exceptional AIgineersÂź

Faced with growing demand for talent capable of designing, deploying and overseeing the use of artificial intelligence, aivancity aims to address a dual challenge that is at once academic, strategic and societal.

The Pilot Programme of Excellence aims to identify, attract and support high-potential candidates, regardless of their social background, in order to train a generation of AIgineersÂź who are excellent, responsible and representative of the diversity of talent.

100
exceptional talents trained by 2030. The ambition: to nurture a new generation of key players in artificial intelligence.

A transformative programme, going beyond a mere scholarship scheme

The Pilot Programme of Excellence is not merely a source of financial support: it is a comprehensive scheme for identifying, accelerating and developing talent. Selected students will join aivancity’s Grande École Programme whilst benefiting from an enhanced learning pathway.

200 hours
of additional training per year, structured around three pillars.

Scientific foundations

In-depth foundations for a thorough understanding of AI.

Technological proficiency

A high level of technical and operational expertise.

Human and Societal Issues

An understanding of the human and strategic dimensions.

This programme is designed as a ‘school within a school’, aimed at developing advanced expertise, strong analytical skills and a systemic view of the challenges posed by AI.

20 full scholarships from the start of the 2026 academic year

For its launch in the 2026 academic year, the programme covers 100 per cent of the Grande École Programme’s tuition fees, broken down by year:

10
places in the first year
5
places in the second year
5
places in the third year

The scheme is also open, on a selective basis, to certain students already enrolled at aivancity, particularly those ranked among the top students in their year group.

A rigorous selection process: application, entrance exams and an in-depth interview.

It combines academic excellence, social criteria and potential for future progression.

A distinctive learning experience

Beyond academic enrichment, students will benefit from a comprehensive experience including:

  • Masterclasses and talks by leading experts
  • Personalised support
  • Strategic projects in real-world settings
  • Immersion in the practical application of AI
  • Greater exposure to the economic and technological ecosystem

The aim: to train professionals capable of thriving in the most demanding environments and playing an active role in the transformations driven by artificial intelligence.

A global ambition: to train the key players in AI

Through this programme, aivancity is setting out a bold ambition: to train those who will create, shape and embody the major innovations in artificial intelligence.

Graduates of the programme will go on to join leading organisations, contribute to research or develop high-impact entrepreneurial projects.

A model at the crossroads of excellence and impact

The programme is based on a model structured around the aivancity endowment fund, which guarantees full coverage of tuition fees. During this launch phase, funding is provided entirely by this fund, with the aim of gradually engaging partner companies to ensure the scheme’s sustainable development.

A vision true to aivancity’s mission

As a mission-driven institution, aivancity sees this programme as a natural extension of its commitment: to train artificial intelligence experts capable of combining technological excellence, an understanding of the world and a sense of responsibility. The Pilot Programme of Excellence thus marks a new stage in the school’s development, reinforcing its position as a leading player in the training of AI talent.
