Bachelor of Science in Applied AI Programme

The widespread adoption and industrialisation of AI use cases are driving increased interest from businesses in professionals trained in data processing, the implementation of machine learning solutions, deep learning and addressing business challenges and the roll-out of AI projects. The Bachelor of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence at aivancity School of AI & Data for Business & Society meets this high demand by preparing students for a career as an Artificial Intelligence Developer.

These professionals, who are quite versatile, must be able to use existing tools (in machine learning or deep learning) and meet a real demand from businesses (both large corporations and, increasingly, SMEs). The skills targeted by this programme are organised around three ‘technical’ skill sets, centred on data (which students will need to acquire, store and analyse), on the implementation of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, supported on both sides by two skill sets: one geared towards the business world and project-related issues (upstream issues), and the other focused on the deployment of AI solutions (downstream issues). Taken together, these skills enable the AI developer to fulfil their role as a ‘technology facilitator’ and ‘knowledge broker’, whilst understanding the organisation’s challenges and thus being able to adapt their technological expertise to the organisation’s actual needs.

Qualifications

The programme enables students who have successfully completed their studies to obtain:

  • A Bachelor of Science in ‘Applied Artificial Intelligence’
  • A certified qualification registered with the RNCP (National Register of Professional Certifications) under number 38603 (9 February 2024) at level 6 (equivalent to a three-year degree): ‘Artificial Intelligence Developer’. It is possible to validate this certification in blocks of skills: for further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Objectives

In addition to these skill sets, the Bachelor’s degree enables students to:
