Recognition by the State

State recognition certifies that an institution makes a valuable contribution to the public service of higher education. It is based on an assessment of the institution’s operations, its study programmes, and its management and teaching staff.

Programme leading to a 5-year post-baccalaureate qualification / Master’s degree

In addition to its state recognition, aivancity is now authorised to award an accredited degree conferring a Master’s qualification for its five-year Grande École programme. This degree, historically registered at Level 7 of the RNCP, thus becomes the first accredited degree conferring a Master’s qualification in France in the field of artificial intelligence and data.

The award of the Master’s degree by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research constitutes a major academic recognition. It guarantees students a five-year post-baccalaureate qualification that is fully aligned with the European LMD framework, ensuring international recognition, the possibility of further study, and enhanced academic and professional recognition, both in France and abroad.

As a reminder, state approval and the Master’s degree are granted following a rigorous assessment process, based on an in-depth pedagogical review and the appointment of admission and graduation panels by the Ministry.

In this regard, several key criteria were examined by the MESRIE, including:

  • the quality and qualifications of the teaching and research staff,
  • the strength of the human, material and financial resources deployed,
  • the quality of the equipment, infrastructure and premises,
  • the excellence and coherence of the programmes offered,
  • the level of research and pedagogical innovation activity,
  • the programme’s alignment with the academic standards of a Master’s degree.
Direct implications for applicants: students wishing to join aivancity in the first year of the Grande École Programme can apply directly via Parcoursup, whilst benefiting from a course of study leading to an accredited degree conferring a Master’s qualification – a guarantee of academic quality, long-term employability and international recognition.

RNCP

RNCP

Listing on the RNCP (National Register of Professional Qualifications) certifies an official level of qualification. This makes it easier for students and employers to identify the skills acquired upon completion of the course.

aivancity also offers two qualifications that are certified and recognised by the State (Ministry of Labour) through their inclusion in the National Register of Professional Qualifications (RNCP), a database listing qualifications and diplomas recognised by the State:

Project Manager in Artificial Intelligence Solutions Development Artificial Intelligence Developer

aivancity’s MSc Data Engineering & Cloud Computing and Data Management programmes lead to a Level 7 professional qualification (equivalent to a five-year higher education qualification). Recognised by the State through their registration in the National Register of Professional Qualifications (RNCP), these professional qualifications, like state-awarded diplomas, attest to a level of study corresponding to the registered qualification level.

This qualification is designed to prepare students for a career as an ‘Infrastructure and Big Data Processing Expert’ and meets a growing demand from businesses in France and around the world.
