This cooperation forms part of the “Digital Côte d’Ivoire 2030” vision and aims to support the Ivorian strategy for digital transformation and the development of artificial intelligence.

Training, certifying and supporting digital transformation

Through this agreement, aivancity and the Ivorian Government intend to develop joint initiatives centred on several strategic priorities: training young people in careers in artificial intelligence, data science and digital technology; upskilling professionals, managers, executives and public servants; and developing innovative academic programmes and international certifications.

The cooperation will also focus on applied research and innovation, supporting digital transformation projects in public and private organisations, and promoting responsible and ethical artificial intelligence that serves economic and social development.

“

We are particularly pleased to sign this agreement with aivancity, recognised as one of the leading international players in the field of artificial intelligence. We share a common vision of AI serving development, education, employment and the transformation of our economy.

— Djibril Ouattara, Minister for Digital Transition and Digitalisation

“

We are deeply honoured by the trust placed in us by the Ivorian Government. This agreement reflects a strong conviction that we share: Africa must not only adopt artificial intelligence, but must also help to invent, develop and govern it. Côte d’Ivoire now has an ambitious and inspiring vision that places artificial intelligence at the service of human development, economic competitiveness and social inclusion.

An immediate first step with CEDITECH CI

As a direct follow-up to this government agreement, aivancity also signed a strategic partnership at VivaTech with CEDITECH CI, the Centre of Excellence for Digital and Technologies, represented by its Managing Director, Souleymane Sidibé.

CEDITECH CI, part of the Transnumerik Group, is now one of the key players in technology training in Côte d’Ivoire. This partnership aims to jointly develop and roll out, from Côte d’Ivoire, executive programmes in artificial intelligence and data aimed at executives, public decision-makers, businesses and future African leaders.

A shared ambition for Africa

Through these agreements, aivancity reaffirms its ambition to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of African talent capable of designing, deploying and governing artificial intelligence technologies.

Beyond training, this cooperation reflects a shared vision: to make artificial intelligence a driver of digital sovereignty, value creation, responsible innovation and sustainable development for Africa.
