In January 2025, aivancity will welcome its first cohort of students to the Nice area. This move aligns with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis’s ambition to establish AI as a key focus within the Côte d’Azur region. The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area has successfully created the ecosystems essential to the economic development of its region, by attracting new academic players and fostering synergies between world-class educational programmes, innovative businesses and cutting-edge research.

Ahead of its permanent move to a 2,000 m² international campus within the metropolitan area, it is already based on the IPAG Business School campus.

As part of its 2030 strategic plan, aivancity intends to expand its activities and strengthen its regional presence in the south of France, whilst IPAG aims to develop its students’ AI skills across its various programmes. The two institutions have therefore joined forces and established an institutional and strategic partnership, notably by pooling their resources and local networks. They are committed to developing joint training programmes, collaborative research, industrial partnerships and joint international initiatives.

Furthermore, from the start of term in January 2025, aivancity will launch its certified course ‘AI & Data Science for Managers’ in Nice, as part of the first year of its Master of Science (MSc) programmes ‘Data Engineering & Cloud Computing’ and ‘Data Management’ programmes, followed, in the 2025 academic year, by the launch of the first year of its Bachelor’s degree in ‘Applied AI’, not to mention its renowned ‘AI Clinic’, serving local businesses.

Located in the heart of Nice, on Boulevard Carabacel, on the site of the former Chambre des Métiers, the campus – whose façade is a listed building – features two large lecture theatres, a garden, a cafeteria and two terraces.

aivancity has demonstrated its commitment to employability right from the start of its presence in Nice.

Placing great importance on young graduates’ access to employment, as well as their employability throughout their careers, aivancity organised, with the support of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, an introductory conference on AI and unveiled an initial overview of job vacancies in the AI sector across the Sud – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
