To mark World Cancer Day, aivancity had the honour of taking part in an exceptional round-table discussion held at the National Assembly. The event brought together dedicated experts to explore the potential of artificial intelligence in transforming healthcare.

During the round-table discussion, Tawhid Chtioui, Chairman of aivancity, spoke on the topic: ‘AI and new technologies at the service of patients ’. Alongside Fabrice Barlesi, Franck Le Ouay, Loic Verlingue, Lucas Lachambre and Laure GuĂ©roult Accolas, he shared an in-depth reflection on the fundamental role of AI in modern medicine.

AI: much more than just a diagnostic tool

Artificial intelligence is not limited to optimising medical diagnoses. It is redefining medical practice by offering innovative approaches:

  • Early detection of cancer: advanced algorithms can identify early warning signs of the disease long before they are detectable to the human eye, thereby improving the chances of early treatment.
  • Personalised medicine: AI facilitates treatments tailored to each patient’s specific needs, improving the effectiveness of therapies and reducing side effects.
  • Patient empowerment: through home monitoring tools, telemedicine and intelligent chatbots, patients benefit from personalised support that enhances their independence and quality of life.

These crucial issues are explored in depth in the opinion piece co-authored by Tawhid Chtioui and Loic Verlingue, which highlights the impact of AI on the transformation of care pathways.
