aivancity Advisory Board

Committed, high-calibre governance

As the school’s strategic advisory body, the aivancity Board issues opinions and makes recommendations of an advisory nature.

The exchange of ideas and cross-fertilisation between the school’s vision and development prospects and the scientific, professional and societal expertise of the Board members inform the thinking of the school’s leadership and enable them to make well-founded decisions.

Its role consists, in particular, of providing guidance on key strategic areas such as:

scientific choices, the range of programmes on offer, strategy, the human resources required to implement the strategy, international development, investment decisions and risk management; to support aivancity in fulfilling its purpose, in line with its commitments as a mission-driven organisation, and, more generally, to strengthen its societal impact.

It also reviews the school’s overall financial position and makes recommendations to ensure its long-term sustainability.

Alongside the Board, which comprises three colleges, sit the President of the Students’ Union and a graduate of the school.

Comprising eminent figures from the academic world who are recognised for their contributions and influence in the school’s areas of expertise, its work focuses primarily on academic decisions, the recognition of qualifications, the range of programmes on offer and the school’s academic resources.
