Are you planning to undertake vocational training and looking for a way to fund it? aivancity can help you with this.

Discover the funding options suited to your situation

Whether you’re an employee on a permanent or fixed-term contract, a self-employed person, a jobseeker or looking for a training course, there are several types of support and funding available to help make your plans a reality. As funding for training can sometimes be a sensitive issue, our teams are on hand to support you in finding the right solutions.

aivancity supports me in my search for funding

aivancity does everything it can to help you realise your project.

There are a wide range of schemes available to help project leaders fund their training. Our team is on hand to help you draw up your personalised funding plan. Remember to start your search for funding well in advance: some schemes can be very time-consuming. Between putting together your application, waiting for a response and any follow-up enquiries, several months may pass between your initial application and receiving funding. We advise you to start your search for funding as soon as your project is conceived or, at the very least, 4 to 6 months before the training start date.

  • If you are an employee, this will allow you to present your training plan to your employer during your annual review or to request a date when work is less busy.
  • If you are unemployed, this timeframe will allow you to put together an application with your PĂ´le Emploi adviser.

I’m an employee – what options are available to fund my training?

You are investing in yourself and your potential, both for your own benefit and for that of your company. As an employee, what options are available to you?

I’m using my CPF
The Personal Training Account (CPF) is a government-run scheme for continuing professional development. It is automatically topped up after each year of employment and serves as a means of payment to fund training. As an employee, you can therefore access your CPF to fund your training. The process is carried out online via the Mon Compte Formation app or website.
Our training courses are listed there. You can select the aivancity course of your choice and your request will be automatically sent to us. If you are planning a career change, the CPF for professional transition allows you to take a temporary leave of absence from your employer to undertake a certified training course enabling you to change your trade or profession.
You can now benefit from a government top-up of €1,000 to help fund training in digital professions. Anyone eligible for the CPF can now receive additional funding of €1,000 to undertake training in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The government has introduced this new financial support as part of the France Relance plan.
This grant therefore allows you to benefit from a €1,000 top-up to undertake training in the digital sector. The grant, up to a maximum of €1,000, is provided in addition to your CPF balance if this is insufficient to fund the CPF-eligible training courses you are interested in.
This government grant can be combined with other sources of funding (regional authorities, OPCOs, employers). This additional funding for digital training is automatically offered on the Mon Compte Formation website or app.

I am applying for funding from my company’s OPCO

Skills development organisations (OPCOs) support companies in meeting their vocational training obligations. As such, your employer can use their training budget and apply to their designated OPCO to fund your training.

I’m finding out about my employer’s skills development plan
The skills development plan sets out all the training opportunities offered by a company to its employees. This plan may include a training fund dedicated to staff training. You can therefore apply for funding for your training under this scheme.

I’d like to access my Personal Training Account (CPF)

I’m an entrepreneur or self-employed. How can I fund my training?

Just like other working people, you can also access your CPF balance to fund your aivancity training.

I am registered with a Training Insurance Fund (FAF)

Self-employed workers are covered by a FAF. In return for their contribution to vocational training, they may therefore, subject to certain conditions, have the cost of their training courses covered in full or in part.

To benefit from this support, you must apply to your relevant FAF:

  • The FIF-PL, for the liberal professions
  • AGEFICE, if you are a retailer or a self-employed business owner in the retail, manufacturing or service sectors
  • The FAFCEA, if you are a craftsperson

Your application must be submitted at least one month before the start of the training course (or, at the latest, 10 days before, if you are a self-employed professional).

I am a jobseeker – how can I fund my training?

I’m applying to Pôle Emploi to access my CPF funds

When you are a jobseeker, the balance in your personal training account – accumulated during your periods of employment – is maintained. You can access these funds to finance your training programme. You must submit a request to Pôle Emploi in writing or via the KAIROS platform.

I am applying for Individual Training Support (AIF)

Individual Training Support (AIF) is a grant paid by PĂ´le Emploi. It is intended for jobseekers who wish to retrain or set up their own business, subject to certain conditions. To be eligible, the applicant must present their plan to their adviser. If the plan is approved, they must submit the quote via the KAIROS platform to apply for funding.

I am receiving the PĂ´le Emploi training allowance (RFPE)

Pôle Emploi provides training allowance for jobseekers undertaking an approved training course who are not receiving unemployment benefit. The RFPE is paid subject to certain conditions, and the amount depends on the duration of the training and the claimant’s personal circumstances. To be eligible, you must apply to your Pôle Emploi adviser.
