AI comes into play only at certain steps, and its output must be checked before it feeds into an important operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">General-purpose platforms such as Zapier and Make cover a wide range of business services. According to their official pages, their catalogs include more than 9,000 and more than 3,000 apps, respectively. These figures describe the claimed breadth of the catalogs, not the depth of each connector or a comparable performance measure.<a href=\"#source1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><a href=\"#source2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">n8n emphasizes customization and offers self-hosting options. Gumloop and Lindy put agents more at the center of their offering. Workato and Tray.ai address organizations&#8217; integration and governance needs. Bardeen targets web and sales tasks in particular. Parabola now features Prowork for finance and operations work, while IFTTT remains suited to simple connections between services and devices.<a href=\"#source4\"><sup>[4\u201310]<\/sup><\/a><a href=\"#source28\"><sup>[28\u201330]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Two recent developments deserve to be singled out. Zapier&#8217;s documentation, updated on October 1, 2026, describes a migration from standalone agents to AI by Zapier steps built into workflows. No end-of-life date for the Agents product has been set yet. A name change or the presentation of a platform as \u201cagentic\u201d does not, on its own, demonstrate greater reliability.
